Engelberg is the bike destination in Central Switzerland. And the Bänklialp is the hotel for bikers. The Engelberg Trail Arena in the neighbouring mountain forest is directly connected to the hotel. Engelberg also has four trails exclusively for bikers, e-bike routes and a variety of cross-country or enduro day tours and flowing trails for every level of biker. Get on your bike saddle!

The 18-hole golf course in Engelberg is just 6 minutes by car from the Bänklialp. The beautiful course is framed by the mountain massifs and surrounded by streams and lakes. This is the place to play your way to golfing bliss with any handicap.

The easy or challenging hike starts directly from the Bänklialp. Engelberg proudly boasts more than 500 kilometres of hiking trails. The 4-lake hike, the alpine cheese trail, the Laucheren alp, the ridge hike on the Stanserhorn with a finish on the Bänklialp: if the word hiking paradise didn't already exist, we would have to invent it for ourselves.

Our hotel bus shuttle takes you comfortably in 5 minutes to the valley station of the TITLIS Xpress in the Engelberg-Titlis ski area with its 82 km of pistes. The world's first revolving aerial cableway is part of the summit experience. Here, snowboarders and skiers soar into a snow Eldorado.

From the Hotel Bänklialp, you can walk directly down to Engelberg's 38 km network of cross-country ski trails with your cross-country skis on. Here you can do your laps in an idyllic winter landscape, surrounded by the icing sugar backdrop of the mountains with the Titlis, the Engelberg Rotstock, the Ruchstock and many more. Narrow slats?
